National Day of Prayer
Tom, kindly provide WTLR media coverage for National Day of Prayer. The turnout of prayer warriors for these events is increased raising praise and hope to our Lord Jesus. These are non political events but opportunities for small groups to pray spontaneously. Bob Whitaker
In celebration of the National Day of Prayer on May 1, the first Thursday in May, is a day of prayer proclaimed by our President as a time for all Americans to humble themselves, repent from their sin and seek God for the good of the nation. Because of its focus, this day is always a nation-wide, non-political event. The theme for this year’s National Day of Prayer is from Romans 15:13: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”.
