We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit1, born of a virgin2, and is true God3 and true man4.

4. 1 Timothy 2:5
We believe that man was created in the image of God1, that he sinned2 thus incurring not only physical death3, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God4; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature5 and are sinners in word, thought and deed6.
We believe that God has established marriage as a lifelong, exclusive relationship1 between one man and one woman2 and that all intimate sexual activity outside the marriage relationship, whether heterosexual3, homosexual4, or otherwise5, is immoral6 and therefore sin7.
We believe that God created the human race as male and female1 and that all conduct with the attempt to adopt a gender other than one’s birth gender is immoral and therefore sin2.
1. Genesis 1:27
2. Deuteronomy 22:5
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image1. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death2. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life3.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone1, through faith alone2, in Christ alone3, and that all who believe in the Lord Jesus4 by faith alone are born from above and thereby become children of God5. We believe that saving faith in Christ results in a Holy Spirit–led life6, and that faith without works is dead7.

FINAL AUTHORITY FOR MATTERS OF BELIEF AND CONDUCT
The Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. The Bible is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Central Pennsylvania Christian Institute, Inc., final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application concerning issues of faith, doctrine, practice, policy and discipline shall be interpreted by the Board of Directors.
